Lantmännen Unibake UK: a new name for Eurobuns

One of larger suppliers, Eurobuns, now goes under the name of Lantmännen Unibake UK. One thing hasn’t changed though - it still produces the best burger buns and hot dog rolls in the UK!

Since last summer the company has been owned by the Swedish Lantmännen group - a cooperative of 40,000 Swedish farmers. The group operates in several key sectors of the food industry, and Denmark-based Unibake division is one of the most dynamic businesses within it, where the strategy is to internationalise the business and grow by mergers and acquisitions. Lantmännen Unibake UK is the newest member of this family!

The year 2008 was a very eventful one for the former Eurobuns. Apart from the new ownership structure, the company celebrated its 10th anniversary, which was marked in great style by receiving the Queens Award for Innovation, culminating in a Royal visit to its production site in Milton Keynes.

Under its new ownership the company can look forward to even more exciting times ahead. As part of Lantmännen Unibake the company now has the backing of one of Europe’s leading suppliers of frozen bread products. It means that from now on, great service and quality will be available on an ever-widening range of products.
